Why Do Fools Fall In Love?

Psychic Yemaya

Being a Fool is like being an innocent child—remembering what unconditional love is, or simply relaxing into who you’re supposed to be in this moment. This can be a challenge, as human nature is to fight and fear change.
The Fool card in the Tarot urges us to see today as the first day of the rest of our lives. Falling in love may seem foolish, yet it’s a surefire way to stir up your life, bring excitement, anticipation, and yes, even fear that can start a fire under you towards changes in your life. Change brings spiritual growth, and in my opinion, that’s why we’re here! All these emotions and feelings being stirred up, may help us to live our lives more fully; it could also be meant to draw you away from something. So we’re drawn to love as a moth is drawn to a flame, to inspire us to evolve!
Some may cry out, “but what about the pain?” It’s our free will to stay in each relationship or to move on. Do we lack the ability to let go? Sometimes. Quite often, we’re like children who don’t know when they need to eat or sleep—we lose perspective. Look around you. How many people do you see that are stuck in a rut, in a loveless marriage, or in a job that they hate. Why are they stuck? Because they are “fearful” of change, of what will happen if they “risk.” If the pain is greater than the happiness, it’s time to negotiate a new reality.
Letting go is one of the major lessons for many of the souls here on Earth at this time. Remember, it’s up to us to measure the health of each relationship, our own behaviors, and what actions we need to take. Don’t let fear rule your life choices. The universe tells us that our world is as we create and believe it to be.
Life is change. We must accept or reject the life that bogs us down or doesn’t fit us. Love can be a foolish risk, and great things come to those who step outside of their comfort zones and risk. If it isn’t the love affair you dreamed of, look to see how you have grown from the experience, let go, and then go be foolish again
