Transform Your Faults Into Qualities!

Develop Your Mind:

“You can’t solve your problems with the same mentality
you used to create them!”
Albert Einstein

We all want a better, happier life. Unfortunately, a lot of the time we’re prevented from attaining it because of our personal limitations and faults. We all have subconscious blocks, Karmic debts we carry around from past lives. They inhibit our progress, and if you’re having trouble getting rid of them, it might be because you’ve adopted the wrong attitude towards them.

What if you tried to make your faults instruments for happiness? Read what follows, and you’ll soon see that you’re perfectly capable of doing just that!

Generally speaking, you’re either resigned to your faults, or do everything you can to get rid of them, usually – and unfortunately – without much success. There’s a reason for that. It’s because you’re using the wrong method. It’s not your fault, since more than likely no one ever taught you the right way to go about it. What you need to do is transform your faults, and use them to your advantage.

Your Disease: Your Faults – The Cure: My Method!

The first thing you need to do is determine what your faults are, and then take the necessary steps to eradicate them, in this case by applying my method. All the people who tried it before have gotten excellent results, and there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work for you too.

Usually you deny your faults and see them as enemies that are preventing you from making progress. Depending on your character you either become resigned to them, saying you’ll never be able to get rid of them, or you try everything you can to make them disappear, but without success... up to now.

In both cases you may have realized that you were up against a formidable adversary that’s very difficult to overcome.

Step 1: Change How You Think About Your Faults

First, work on the idea that your faults aren’t your enemies, but allies for change. Only when you’ve done that will you be able to apply my method, since it relies totally on that concept.

You have to understand that it’s not by denying your faults that you’re going to eradicate them. Instead, you have to confront them head-on. If you don’t, no real transformation is possible.

Dare To Look At Yourself

Be as frank and honest as you can. You have everything to gain! If you’re having problems preparing your list, remember that your faults are really allies on your path of evolution and transformation. You need that list if you’re ever going to have the life you desire. Faults, like qualities, are only energy. All you need to do is point them in the right direction.

To help you, here’s a list of the most common faults people have: anger, laziness, greed, procrastination (putting things off for later), jealousy, hypochondria (being overly worried about your health), hate, fear (or a phobia), cowardice and dishonesty.

Obviously you can complete the list by adding any faults you have that I didn’t mention. Just make sure your list is exhaustive.

Then, classify your faults from least to most important. Use how easy it is to get rid of a fault as the basis for where it appears on your list. Then start by transforming those that seem easiest to manage.

How To Transform Your Faults

It’s very simple: just find the positive quality that corresponds to the fault you want to get rid of. For example, if you’re generally fearful, the opposite quality would be bravery. Think about all the advantages being brave could bring you, once your fear has been transformed.

To transform a fault into a quality, here’s what you should do. During the first week, practice this exercise every day, in the morning:

-    Get comfortable in a place you know you won’t be disturbed for about ten minutes. The best thing would be to sit on a chair, with your hands resting on your knees.
-    Breathe deeply for ten full cycles. Start with an exhalation, and don’t force it. Just let your breathing become naturally deeper and fuller.
-    With each inhalation, relax a part of your body, starting with your feet and moving right on up to your head.
-    When you’re completely relaxed, close your eyes and repeat the following affirmation five times with conviction: “I’m getting rid of my fear by transforming it into courage.”
-    Keeping your eyes closed, visualize all the advantages courage can bring you. Try to imagine specific situations that involve you personally.
-    When you’re finished, remain in this state of calm relaxation for about five minutes, then get back to whatever you were doing.

It may not happen right away, but in a short time you’ll realize you have much more courage than before, and you’ll be able to use it whenever the need arises.

Once you’ve transformed your first fault into its positive counterpart, move on to the next one, and so on down your list. If you persevere and do your exercises with conviction, you should eventually be able to eliminate most of your faults.
